I read a lot of books. I have read so many men written by women that I feel like I have a really good grip on what I want in a book boyfriend. This will be different for some – obviously we all have our own red flags, kinks & preferences. ๐ฅ๐ฅ I’m going to give you my top 3. I obviously probably have a top 20 based on my mood but I think I’ll do some posts in the future on the men who own each trope for me. So for now, enjoy my top 3 book boyfriends you need to read immediately!
Number Three – Farrow Keene
This will surprise absolutely no one who knows me but 2 of my top 3 are written by Krista & Becca Ritchie. I swear they write the best men. ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Farrow Keene wins the Top 3 spot because he is absolutely a wet dream. โ ๏ธโ ๏ธ A man who rocks piercings, dyed hair, & is covered in tattoos but is also gentle & loves fiercely. Farrow’s love story is a bodyguard / M|M romance. He falls in love with his client & Maximoff falls right back. As he should. Maximoff has lived a life of privilege, but has never had a significant other because he thinks the media would take their privacy & ruin their relationship. Farrow does SO MANY little things for him to show him that he doesn’t care & that Maximoff is worth it. It’s absolutely swoon worthy. You need to pick up the Like Us series & read their story because Farrow Keene is a man we could all fall in love with.
Number Two – Tate Morrison
Tate was married to an absolute wench of a woman who broke him down over time. I was so proud of him in his journey to forgive her & his family. His dream is to own a bar & so at the beginning of his & Logan’s story he’s a bartender, which is how he meets Logan. Tate has always been straight & it makes his journey with Logan that much sweeter when he comes to terms with being in love with a man. It’s beautiful. They have a series of six books dedicated to their love affair. I cried during every single one. Tate is perfection. He goes through SO much to have Logan & treats him like he’s precious. Tate is also ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ in the bedroom which just adds to his appeal. Wild curls, motorcycle riding, hot as f*ck bartender with a soft side, dirty streak & a big heart. ๐ Tate is one of the best men I’ve read & I love him with my whole heart. Genuinely jealous of Logan. LOL
Number One – Loren Hale
Loren Hale ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป Truly the man is a legend. He is the quintessential “I hate everyone but you” man. Luckily the “you” includes his found family, wife & kids…but no one else. I love that he is so fiercely protective of his people. It would really be something to be loved by Lo. He is also a huge comic book & Marvel nerd while still being a badass CEO, rich as hell & hot AF. Reading his books (Addicted Series) was an emotional journey. Loren is so strong while still being vulnerable. He’s an alcoholic & the man takes his recovery SO seriously that it really is inspiring & the way he helps Lily through her struggles will forever be the standard for men – fictional or not. I would marry Loren Hale. Straight up. He is just entirely my type. A little broken but also a solid foundation. Watching him become a dad was ๐๐ Even when he’s going “full Loren Hale” he’s still the hottest book character of all time. The man is the ultimat I’m not sure any fictional male will ever really compare to Loren Hale.
Top 3. Were you surprised? Doubtful. It was hard to choose between Cassian from ACOSF & Farrow. Cassian & Rhys are probably tied for fourth. Honorable mention to Zade Meadows, Pike Lawson & Daddy Cade Eaton. I just find that when I think of the men in books I go back to again & again – it always comes back to Loren, Tate & Farrow. I would love to know who your top three are. I’m always looking for more fictional men to convince my husband to be more like. ๐คฃโ ๏ธ I’m lucky I have a spouse who is a great combo of my top three. I’ve decided to do a series on the best men in each trope – leave a comment with your suggestions. I’m going to need to read a lot more books to decide don’t you think? ๐ Make sure you check out bookstagram to see what I’m currently reading & my review index for books I’ve already read.
