Synopsis
This is the seventh book in the Slayers Hockey Series & it does not disappoint. Liam & Stormy begin as any perfect couple should – married in Vegas the night they meet. It’s Christmas Eve & both our main characters have had a rough go of love. They meet, fall instantly in like & decide in order to save themselves from future heartbreak they should get married without knowing anything real about each other. They leave Vegas not knowing real names, phone numbers or even the city they live in to look them up. Cue Liam stealing his teammate’s car to chase her down a YEAR LATER when he sees her at O’Hare to get a divorce. Only, their cocktail napkin prenup didn’t mention how that connection would still be there, or that they would still need each other…

Story: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 – 4 stars
A fake marriage, forced proximity HEA?! Be still my beating heart. Liam & Stormy were so much fun in this dual POV. I loved the idea of meeting in Vegas, getting married to save the other from any more broken hearts. Can’t you just picture it? *swoon* Add in some hockey love, teammates becoming family & some crazy ex drama & you’ve got a recipe for a great spicy rom com.

Mira Lyn Kelly always writes a fun story. I liked that the chapters weren’t too long so it kept the story moving along. Loved catching a glimpse of all our boys from the previous books (lookin’ at you Grady & Rux.) Overall, it was a fun, quick read with plenty of mushy goodness.

Delightful. This story had great steamy scenes. Nothing too kinky but just enough to put that smug smile on your face while reading.

Such a fun, quick, happy read. This whole series has been super fun. I love the Slayers hockey boys.
I highly recommend starting with the
Back to You Series.
Beginning with Hank & Abby in Hard Crush. This is basically the prequel to the Slayers Hockey Series.
I think Liam is in my Top 3 Slayers Hockey players. It’s hard to compete with Rux & Vaughn haha. However, you really can’t go wrong with any of them.
