Review – The Do Over

Synopsis

Christopher Miles has it all. He works for his family’s multi billion dollar company (with all his hunky brothers) & splits his time between his million dollar penthouses in NYC & London. But after his family gives him a hard time about being spoiled & entitled he decides to take a sabbatical & backpack Europe for a year to show them he’s not as bad as they say. When sweet country girl Hayden shows up at the same hostel the two have instant chemistry but keep each other in the friend zone knowing there is no way it would work out. After a few months of travel & a sexy kiss the two find they just can’t stay away. They spend months traveling Europe together but Christopher has a secret & when it’s time to leave he springs on her the big lie – he’s not a poor janitor from New York, he’s a billionare workaholic in London. Their HEA is so sweet after all the angst & turmoil & suprise twists. Oh & they find an orphan – can you imagine? A billionaire who would adopt a little Spanish orphan? *swoon* Hayden’s heart doesn’t stand a chance.

Break It Down

Story: – 4 Stars

I loved this story. Travel, HEA, soul mate love & a tiny tease of single dad – ugh Christopher Miles was total heart eyes for me. Charming, handsome, sex obsessed & a total goof. Just perfection. There was a lot of artificial conflict in this book & some of it I could have skipped but overall it was a cute story & I enjoyed our little glimpses of cities around Europe & of course it was great to see the other Miles brothers as well as some other favorites from TL Swan.

I liked the dual POV & the sprinkle in of other characters POV. I haven’t seen that done well often & it was perfectly smooth in this one. The story also moves forward in time jumps which I usually can’t stand but this one allowed us to also enjoy the small glimpses of their time in different cities without wasting a lot of words on the transition which I appreciated.

Spice: – 3.5 Flames

four flame good. I was surprised that we didn’t get more spicy content considering how often Christopher asks for it but overall I liked the amount of chemistry & the spicy content was well written – Christopher & Hayden once we got there…we GOT there. haha

Overall: – 4 Stars

This was a 4 star read for me. It was enjoyable all the way through. I laughed out loud several times & had major swoon moments. Christopher was all your playboy billionaire dreams come true & Hayden’s country roots just made for a sweet story with lots of chemistry & overall a great romance. An excellent follow up in our Miles High Club series!
